Crown Audio GEOLBOX End of Line Termination Box for Audio Monitoring

The Crown GEOLBOX End of Line (EOL) Box is a critical component for monitoring and maintaining integrity in audio systems utilizing a 20kHz pilot tone to detect open or short conditions in loudspeaker circuits. Positioned at the farthest end of the speaker circuit, the GEOLBOX is specifically reactive at 20kHz, allowing system operators to detect changes in impedance due to faults. Using HiQnet Audio Architect™ software, the system can monitor the resulting 20kHz current, which shifts if the circuit encounters an open or short condition. An external impedance switch on the GEOLBOX allows users to set the load to either 10Ω or 5Ω at 20kHz. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Crown's DCi Network, Dante, and USP4 CTs amplifier families, the GEOLBOX supports pilot tone generation while allowing it to bypass internal speaker processing, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring and reliable fault detection in complex audio installations.
