The Silent Majesty Grandfather Clock. Handcrafted by Glynn W. Brown 1974 This stunning grandfather clock is a true testament to timeless craftsmanship. Originally crafted by "Erhard Jauch Uhrenfabrik " in Germany for the Emperor Clock Company, it bears the serial numbers 771273 and 237621. This model is known as a "Tempus Fugit" grandfather clock—a classic phrase meaning "time flies," often found on such timepieces. Measuring 79 inches in height and 21 inches in width, this piece commands attention with its elegant proportions. I personally refurbished the clock, transforming it into a unique work of art. The custom, hand-painted finish was done by me to beautifully complement its traditional form. I also added handmade decorative mold decals, enhancing its ornate details and giving it a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind character. The clock comes complete with its original manual for proper care and operation, along with all necessary weights. It also includes extra chimes, allowing for continued enjoyment of its melodic hourly strikes. More than just a timekeeper, this piece is a magnificent decorative accent- blending historical significance with personalized artistry-ready to become a cherished focal point in any home.
