Trumpet Snails Healthy Aquarium Raised Plant Tank Hardy Algae Eaters My  trumpet snails are raised in a healthy planted aquarium and fed quality homemade food. Known for burrowing into substrate which helps keep the bottom of the tank aerated and clean. Excellent natural cleaners that eat leftover food, algae, and detritus while helping maintain a balanced aquarium environment. Hardy species that adapts well to most freshwater setups and is peaceful with fish, shrimp, and other snails. Care sheet and arrival steps Shipped safely wrapped in damp paper towel inside a secure container with air space, then placed inside a second protective bag or insulated box. This method keeps them safe and prevents stress during transit. When your snails arrive, open the package and place them on top of the substrate in your aquarium. They will naturally burrow and adjust to the tank. No water acclimation needed since they are shipped damp, not in water. Provide a planted tank with sand or fine gravel so they can dig and keep the substrate healthy. They feed on algae, biofilm, and leftover food and help clean the tank. Avoid copper medications and maintain stable freshwater conditions for best results.
