Guitar Info Pre-owned, 10 out of 10 condition, no scratches, no dings. This Fender Sonoran is an easy player and makes a great player transition from electric to acoustic guitar. This 25.3" (643 mm) scale guitar features a “tight” dreadnought cutaway body shape with a solid top that literally resonates with a more individual tonal character, more "organic" consistency, and a “truer” voice. Scalloped X-bracing is thinner than more conventional bracing. That means that the bracing pattern inside the guitar uses less wood, which means that soundboard mass is reduced. This lets the top resonate more freely, resulting in better tone with more nuance and greater projection. It features mahogany back and sides, checkerboard rosette, body binding, vintage C-shaped maple neck with dual-action truss rod and matching painted Stratocaster® headstock shape. The extended cutaway allows for reaching all the way to the lowest frets. This Sonoran was modified with aftermarket custom AAGSS Model PP1 Power Pins in the saddle and Guyker Locking Tuners. The Hex Key will be provided should the buyer decide to remove the Power Pins and go back to bridge pegs. This guitar also has Schaller Lock Pins and Lock Strap for guitar safety and stability while playing. The REALLY nice thing about this guitar is that the top strap pin is mounted to a block under the top bout rather than the neck. The result is that the guitar sits close and comfortably to the body with no forward roll. This guitar comes with a Fender Soft Case. This guitar neck is made for electric guitarists that want an easy transition from electric to acoustic guitar. The neck is a high-end Stratocaster neck, set in an acoustic guitar. The feel is truly like no other acoustic guitar. The Fender® Stratocaster® Headstock Shape neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, 1.69" (43 mm) bone nut, rosewood bridge with compensated bone saddle, forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, gloss polyurethane neck and body finish. It comes with a Fender Soft Case.
