Teisco EB12 Short Scale Bass

Rare vintage bass Eb12 Teisco Festival EB12 Short Scale Bass 60's-70's ? Sunburst. As usual, these basses were made by Teisco or parent company and sold with a jillion different names. From what I see, most of these listed show '60's and manufactured in Japan. I'm thinking more '70's, but not too sure. This is a fun little 30" scale bass that is a blast to play. The action is set at a decent level and it is intonated fairly well, for being a 2-saddle bridge. Still have the bridge cover which is rare for a lot of these basses plus I added a small cushion for slightly better sound quality. Sounds great. I played this for quite a while and even though the pickup has a lower output, it just has a creamy sound and is quite satisfying to play...... plus it weighs in at 5lb 14oz, so easy on the back. This has obvious scratches/dings/dents, etc, but for being fairly old, it is still in really good shape - better than most basses of this style and era. The binding is on the neck but on the one part shown in pics. Please see all the pics, as they are also a part of the description.
