Rare Dresser! Carpenters Delight!

Description

So this dresser is actually quite rare. It was designed and crafted by John Widdicomb from Grand Rapids, Michigan. This gent started building cabinets in 1858 before his sons took over- designers like George Nakashima famed architect and designer along with others are credited for several of the vintage pieces still alive to this day. The dresser is gorgeous but suffered some damage. One of the legs broke and the hardware popped off- but rest assured, I have all of them. For the “furniture flipper” and craftspeople out there- you know this is a cool find and rare piece. It’s solid wood. Has 6 medium drawers and 3 larger drawers with the official bronze plaque emblem on the inside of the top left drawer. I used this piece when I lived in Hollywood as set design and had it painted over a few times. With a little TLC this can be a stunning piece or catch a hefty price tag in the local market. Some of John Widdicomb’s dressers and furniture go for as high as $20,000. Hate to let it go- but rather it be in the hands of the inspired and open hearted. Dimensions: 76 inches long 32 inches tall 20 inches wide The TV above is 65 inches
