I’m selling my 1959 Airstream Tradewind, a 24-foot trailer that I’ve been restoring over the past few years. With hundreds of hours invested, this project is well on its way to becoming a showpiece. Completed Work: • Frame Reconditioning: The body was carefully removed from the frame, which has been fully reconditioned. • New Subfloor: A brand new subfloor has been installed. • Belly Pan & Insulation: A new belly pan with full spray foam insulation has been added—this was not cheap but worth every penny. • Upgraded Waste Tanks: Black and grey water waste tanks have been installed with custom brackets, a significant upgrade for this model. • Restored Front Door: The front door has been fully restored and rebuilt. • Polishing: The exterior is 80% polished and will soon be finished to a full mirror shine. • New AC Unit: A brand new AC unit is installed and blowing cold air. • Plexiglass Front Window: A large new plexiglass front window has been added. • Restored Windows: Most windows have been restored; only the back glass piece needs installation. • Custom Door Awning: A custom-made, one-of-a-kind door awning cover has been added—check out the photos! • Skylight & Exhaust Fan: A big skylight has been installed with an exhaust fan for better ventilation.
