It's fancy and beautiful and expensive enough to make her love you forever and ever!

This was described to me as a "brand new antique" when I bought it. I am not convinced. I am pretty sure the antiques went out of production awhile back. It is very nice, but a "brand new antique" is not a real thing. It is a brand new, still in the box, very nice, high quality piece, probably destined to be a high dollar antique eventually - sometime many years following being brand new.... It is heirloom quality, the kind of thing you pass down to your kids and keep for generations - and that is already evident in the ridiculously expensive retail price. It lists on Wayfair for $3269 and goes on sale for a still crazy $1231. Please note, this is only for the desk. The hutch in the pictures is not available. I have looked and have not even been able to find the hutch for sale. I am downsizing and getting rid of some things like this that I like very well but have not used. I would like to see this go somewhere and other items go somewhere they will be used and appreciated so even after saving them for awhile to use down the road I am now willing to take a small fraction of what it is supposed to be worth. First $250 takes this one Or I may be even more interested in trading for something else. Maybe guns, a bigger tv or a desktop computer.
