Description

This is a hardly used, perfectly functioning example of the classic Orion EQ-G mount. I have used this for several astrophotography adventures but have reached a point in my life where I do not use it often enough. This may be one of the best values for a stable, high capacity eq mount for astrophotography, with a rated capacity for a 39 lb OTA. Included with two counterweights. This listing is for the mount assembly only. I also have some other accessories useful for astrophotography I would consider selling as well (Astrotech AT80ED, ZWO guide scope and ccd guide camera), but I would like to see if anyone is interested first. This is an excellent mount for beginners and experts alike, as it is simple enough to grasp if it is your first foray into astrophotography, but allows plenty of room for upgrades. With the nebulas of summer nights coming out soon, it would be a good time to pick it up now and familiarize your self before you start really exploring the Milky Way.
