Getzen 400 Series Trombone

Selling this cool Getzen 400 series straight trombone. The 400 series trombones seem to be somewhat uncommon - described as an "advanced student model" horn, they seem to fit into an odd middle ground between student and intermediate/professional model instruments. What sets this instrument apart from other beginner model horns is its .500 bore, putting it in the medium bore camp alongside such esteemed horns as the King 3B and Conn 6H (my current favorite). This affords the instrument a richer, fuller, more "mature" sound with more blend and projection to offer, as well as a more characteristic sound for ensemble playing. Paired with Getzen's high standard of craftsmanship, you're getting a really great instrument at a very competitive price. This particular 400 series plays very well - I corrected a bit of slide misalignment and gave it a light cleaning and lubrication, and the slide is an 8+/10 now. It has various cosmetic wear throughout, the worst of which I included in the listing photos. This would definitely be a great instrument for a serious student or any pro looking for a killer gig ready medium bore horn that won't break the bank!
