PLAYFUL gumball machine - cast iron base - coin operated - mechanical - yellow - delivery available

The machine is 15 inches tall by 8 in wide. The full machine with stand is 38 1/2 in tall. So much nostalgia! I was delighted to bring this 1980’s gumball machine home to my children to show them how it worked and tell them my stories. Please see the video demonstrating this works, probably about as well as it works in the 80’s. The children immediately pointed out that they can just use a coin or a screwdriver to take off the top and get the candy whenever they wanted to. Further, any type of coin will work in this machine, not just quarters and they made a point of using pennies to get their peanut M&Ms. As shown in the pictures, the auger in this machine adjusts for different sizes of candy. I had M&M‘s on hand, but ultimately, I don’t think they are a very good fit for this machine as they tended to launch out the in the end. I took apart and carefully cleaned it and I will do so again after I take the pictures. Probably this is a good opportunity to procure and use actual gumballs. Anyway, I tried to educate my children in the ways of elder millennials. Backfired. This is not a machine where you can keep the money and candy safe. Your children will immmediately figure it out and rob you blind. Perfect if this machine is intended as a nostalgia play or decor where you dont intend to earn a bunch of money on gumballs or candy.
