Description

The Fender Showmaster is a rare instrument built for only a decade or so. They were considered custom builds initially and you can tell by the craftsmanship. This guitar features a quilted make top on a basswood body. It has a carved top that looks amazing. It is a set neck, modern C shape, made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. Tobacco sunburst polyurethane finish. 24 frets arrow for higher octave access. Sculpted heel joint for easier high fret playing feels very comfortable. Seymour Duncan '59 in the bridge and pearly gates in the neck sound amazing! Volume and tone controls and 5-way selector switch. 2 point synchronized tremolo. Smoked chrome hardware. I do not have the original trem bar but I have a gold one I've used with this instrument that I'm happy to include. There is one ding on the front as shown in the pic. There are a few others around the body edge but just normal wear type. When you play this guitar you can feel the quality as well as hear it. It really is a unique gem.
