This lamp is very special. It was very popular although not many remain today, it was remarkably dependable and considered stylish and even Tiffany made a smoked glass elegant lampshade for it that is worth more than the lamp itself, but together, the lamp was "the thing" of the day during the 1920s. The lamp works great and a nice glass shade (check Tiffany) will triple the value of the lamp and your investment. Back to Basic with class is the big direction today with fears of too much dependence on electronics and "complicated expensive gadgets"
