Description

1989 Saab 900 S 171,000 miles 5 speed manual Clean Title Title in hand and in my name No rust Never in an accident, straight body Strong good clutch Transmission doesn’t slip Engine never gets hot Such good gas mileage Sunroof opens Power windows are working Power mirrors are working Good new brakes 4 brand new Falken tires on rare 3 spoke Saab Turbo wheels. The tires don’t even have 1,000 miles New oil pressure regulator, radiator, fans, brakes, tires, front steering assembly, new headliner, brake light switch, headlight bulbs, windshield wipers, chrome bumper trim, hood bracket, gas cap and much more. Brand new battery with warranty too. Power steering rack, control arms, ball joints, and front shocks all done in the past 5,000 miles. Rare original 900 Turbo steering wheel and original Turbo front bumper splitter which is impossible to find and worth so much money. Original Turbo grill badge. Rare chrome window trim. Radio and speakers all work, has a Bluetooth radio and I will include the original radio. The antenna goes and up and down like it should. All lighting works including the dash lights, brake lights, headlights, etc. Brand new Hella Fog lights that work with the original fog light button and relay. Come with the covers too. Central locking works great. Spare tire and tools are there. Seats fold down for the craziest trunk space of all time. No weird smells, noises, or smoke coming from anywhere. Original cloth seats are in amazing condition, the back seats look like they’ve never been touched in 30 years, glove compartment leather is brand new. Headliner was professionally done and new. Orange Porsche Pepita fabric on the doors and trunk covers. Can easily be changed according to taste. Runs and drives great, you can take it anywhere you want with no issues whatsoever. It’s been more reliable than my family’s Toyota Corolla. Not a base model 900 but not the “Turbo” version either, which makes it more reliable. The clutch is pretty new and strong. It was replaced 3 years ago and has no more than a few thousand miles. New radiator and fans keep the car running cool for hours. I have lots of spare parts for the car, including the original books and paperwork for 30+ years of its life. More parts like gage clusters, the original wheels, the original steering wheel and much more will come with the car. Car has never been smoked in, never used for racing or snow. Thousands of dollars have been put into it in recent years. It’s been my weekend car for a while and it’s been amazing. Always put 91 or 93 octane. These Saabs are so fun to drive and so reliable. Always gets great attention in beach towns or high end cities. It never dies on me and no issue is too difficult to fix. 171,000 miles are not high for these cars, people go over 250,000 all the time. Insurance and registration is also very cheap for these Saab 900s. These are future classics and a great investment, if you know, you know. Moving back to college in a few months and need to get it out of the way. Because I’ve been away, I recently put it on non op because I wasn’t interested in selling and wanted to keep it for my future. It’s not a problem at all and it doesn’t owe any fees, getting it registered again is cheap and easy. Feel free to ask for any pictures or ask any questions. I can send you a full gallery of pictures and videos. Also can share service history and original books + parts in person. Car is located in Glendale, CA. Thank you Some cons: - Interior fan switch is dead, it’s not turning on the heater or AC, needs a new switch. - The AC would need to be addressed, don’t know if it needs a charge or compressor. - Small chip in the windshield that has not grown one bit since I’ve owned it. - lap seat belts only - Recently the speedometer is acting up and gives you higher speeds than you’re actually driving, it also counts the miles super slow now. Because this is recent, the cars mileage is still accurate. RPM, gas tank, and temperature gages all still work great. - obviously a cracked dash, but it’s not too bad at all, I’ll give you the dash cover
