Gold Avon Compact with Rhinestones, circa 1960, with original unused face powder and powder guard. Cute collectible face powder compact, rectangular shape with mitered corners and rhinestone detail surrounding the border. “Avon” logo engraved on bottom. The sweet compact is 2.25” wide, 3” long and when closed 1/2” deep. It is 2.67” tall when opened. There is some wear on the bottom and top gold finishes, the inside mirror is in almost perfect condition and the unused powder has two fingernail marks (otherwise the powder is completely smooth). The clasp opens and closes perfectly. Etsy and eBay have this listed for up to $75. I am asking $35 because of some wear on the finish. Cash and pick up only in Ventura, California. If the item is listed, it is still available.
