Description
Genuine antique Pacific cast-iron clawfoot bathtub believed to date to 1929. This is a substantial original fixture—not a lightweight modern reproduction—and would make an impressive centerpiece for a historic restoration, Victorian home, farmhouse bathroom or custom design project. The underside bears a raised PACIFIC casting mark and a “9-8-29” marking, believed to indicate its 1929 production date. Features: • Authentic cast-iron construction • Classic rolled-rim clawfoot design • Approximately 60 inches long by 30 inches wide • Four matching cast-iron feet included • All four feet will be installed before pickup • Working vintage faucet and plumbing • Attractive painted exterior • Nearly a century of genuine history Honest condition: This is an unrestored antique showing genuine age and use. The porcelain interior has scratches, staining, dull areas and other surface wear. Chips and areas of rust are present along portions of the rim. The painted exterior has cosmetic imperfections, and the faucet and metal fittings display age-related patina. Please examine all photographs carefully. The tub is being sold in its present vintage condition and is not represented as newly refinished or cosmetically perfect. Its value lies in its authentic construction, complete set of feet, working plumbing and excellent restoration potential. This bathtub is extremely heavy. The buyer must bring an appropriate vehicle, adequate help, moving equipment, straps and padding and is responsible for safely loading and transporting it. Local pickup in the Oakdale area.
