OfferUp Buyers please Beware of AirPods Pro Scams. I got scammed last week and had to learn the hard way. They are generally listed as Brand New and selling for around $65. These are knockoffs from China that look very good and People can easily be fooled. I had a real Pair to compare the Two and also did a Deep dive on Youtube and found out a lot about these. Here are the Red flags to look for. 1. Slightly different color flat White Color box. 2. The Fakes Weight an Ounce less. This is due to all the Fake packaging. 3. The texture of Box is different. You can feel the slight 3D raised print on the Real ones. 4. The Fake ones will have expired Warranty when you see the details after Pairing on your phone. 5. The Fakes Don't have the same quality sound or Noise Cancellation as the Real ones. If you end up meeting the person in public, make sure to take a Scale with you and weigh them. If you already bought them, take them to the Apple Store with the packaging and ask them if they're Real or Fake. If you've been Scammed, please report the seller to Offerup. These Scammers are also selling them on Facebook Marketplace. Their profiles are very basic and have very little personal information or followers. Look for these Red Flags before buying. Also know that these are $239 retail at Apple and Amazon, so if you see a price that's too good to be true, Huge Red Flag!!
