1965 Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman – Original Family-Owned • Brazilian Rosewood

Original Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, purchased new by my father between 1965–1967 and remaining in our family ever since. This is an authentic vintage Herman Miller example with its original black leather and original finish. It has never been refinished or restored and has spent nearly six decades in my father’s private library, where it was carefully preserved and only lightly used. Believed to be Brazilian rosewood based on the distinctive grain and period of manufacture, although I have not had the wood species professionally authenticated.
