Description

Antique Vapo-Cresolene vaporizer used in the late 1800s and early 1900s for treating respiratory illnesses. Original embossed Cresolene glass reservoir, ornate cast metal stand, original burner, and vaporizing pan marked with patent dates Aug. 4, 1885 and Aug. 8, 1888. It has the original burner (which is pretty rare) and the glass chimney is different that most (white instead of clear, but it came this way). Great display piece for collectors of medical antiques or Victorian-era advertising.
