Outstanding Car Buying Experience!

Nate Erickson came through.... I was looking pretty hard for a car, everything I went to look at was over promised and pictures the private owners were showing were years old. Then I came across a car on a lot hours away that appeared to be what I was looking for. A few quick messages from Erik explaining it was definitely a nice clean good running car, and never over sold me. I checked the lot online had plenty of good reviews I decided to trust what he said and did some of my own research on the vin being are rebuild title. Everything seemed in order, made plans to meet, pulled the check out of the bank. When I got there I could see the car wasn't in mint condition but it was exactly what I was expecting from my conversation and the pictures. I handed over the check hoped in the car and drove it over 5 hours home. The car was perfect for me and better than expected.  Thanks Erik!

Tony, helped me out and did an awesome job on helping me out. He went above and beyond to get me the car that would best fit me in my price range. Thank you so much for sharing the half-truths below. You paid for the first tow. The second time, when the transmission went out, my son paid $400 to have it towed back to the dealership. I am going to end with this statement right here. It is TERRIFYING to know that your child is miles away, serving his country, stranded on the side of some road in Wisconsin after leaving a car lot. By the grace of God, he had a friend with him and called my husband who talked him through the situation. God has blessed our family immensely and he now has a new/used car that is drivable. At the end of the day, money does not matter but my child's safety does. I am thankful we serve a God who watches out for our children even as they enter adulthood.

I am very disappointed in how our son was treated during his first experience at a car lot, away from home. He spent all his savings on a used vehicle at Carzone to prevent starting out his life in debt. When he left his base to purchase a truck he saw online, the truck died due to a broken gas gauge which showed the truck was full. Carzone refused to fix the gauge. No worries. He could live with a broken gauge. Then, two days before he was to leave the state, the same truck died again. The transmission was out. Carzone gave him another vehicle at no charge. He arrived safely at his new base and within a couple of months he began having problems with the second truck (i.e., head gasket, several leaks, rotted cab which was deemed unsafe to lift). Pictured below. With not living up north, we did not realize cars could rust from the salt used on ice. Repairs were going to cost in upwards of $8K. Carzone offered to look at it, similar story we heard about the gas gauge, if our son had it shipped from his current base back to Wisconsin. Our son would have been expected to pay shipping to and from the lot. I am writing all of this to hopefully help someone from falling into this same trap we have dealt with for the past several months. I pray you have had a better experience and that your salesperson is honest.
