Old quest 2 definitely has some wear and tear on the exterior but still functions perfectly fine. Some dead pixels but not enough to take you out of the immersion. Controllers also have some definite wear and tear but they still work just fine. Strap comes from BoboVR and includes a battery that extends the quest to's Life by roughly 3 and 1/2 to 4 hours depending on how intense the game you're playing is.
