I have A Real Dave Made Base Amplifier! This amplifier has the Original 2SC2879 transistors in it with two 2SC2290 driver transistors. These are the good transistors not the new red dot junk!The Amp is still doing the same as it was when I first bought it! There is no need to run A driver because it's A low drive and has the 2SC2290 driver transistors built in. It also has variable power to adjust your dead key ! With my Cobra 2000 that dead keys 2 1/2 watts and swings 25 watts going into the amp I see about 1200 watts peak on my Dosey test center meter. Amp works Beautiful and I hate to sell it but I have to sell some of my collection to buy some other equipment that I have been wanting. It's A skip talking Beast and will get the job done!! Make sure your Swr is as low as possible!! My SWR is about 1.3 with everything in line! Some people run their equipment with the Swr at 1.5 or higher and you do not want to do that!!! Please make sure your Swr is as low as possible and also make sure your antenna and your coax cable can handle this amount of power ..I prefer local pick up so I can show you what this amp will do before you buy it and because of the size of the amplifier!!
