Refreshed 88" Bridgestone CB-3 - 20.5" (Medium)

This beautiful 1988 chromoly Bridgestone CB-3 has been given a full rust bath (minus like 8 inches of the seat tube), including all components. There is a coat of light mineral oil rubbed into all the bare spots on the frame to keep the rust from returning. This bike has been completely rebuilt, with fresh grease throughout the frame. I upgraded the somewhat poor condition original wheels with a solid lugged set of Araya alloys laced to SR hubs with pressed bearings. It has it's original low miles SR Custom triple crank set, and I added some Deore XT pedals to keep you attached. The original hanglebar was too worn to be usable, so I just put on a new Velo Tourist bar and vintage extended SR stem, which really gives it a super comfortable upright position. This bike is an exceptional ride, with a beautifully functioning 21 speed Shimano Tourney drivetrain tethered to full-friction Shimano EM thumbies. It has new cables throughout, new tires, new fenders, and a fresh chain🤙. This bike has been lovingly restored, and should need nothing for a few thousand miles, just it's new owner!
