Black seat, handlebars, engine, husky, tires, frame, plastics, air box, chain, drum brakes sprocket, head pipe, header Husqvarna produced the 390 Automatic model in the late 1970s and early 1980s, specifically from 1978 to 1980. It was developed initially for the Swedish Army to help new recruits learn enduro riding quickly, hence the automatic transmission. The 390 Automatic was a unique model featuring a three-speed automatic transmission. While initially developed for military contracts, it was later offered to the public. The automatic engine fit into the standard Husqvarna frame, making it a relatively seamless integration
