Etnies X In4mation collaboration-Sal Barbier 23’s. Mens Size 11.5 Grey/White. Brand New In Box. Super rare in this condition. Never worn. Never even laced up or tried on. They still got the tags on em, and paper stuffed in the toes. Original white/grey laces & an extra set of solid grey laces. Original box. There’s also a black Etnies velcro coozie lookin’ thing. Honestly, I’m not sure what it is but it came with the shoes. Sal 23’s are my favorite skate shoes of all time, and luckily I have another brand new pair of black and white ones put away. So it’s time to let these babies go. True classics. You won’t find another pair like these. On a side note…I have owned many pairs of the original SLB 23’s from the 90’s. Those are clearly the OG’s, no doubt. My only knock on the original SLB’s is that the rubber soles always got very hard over time and the toes inevitably curved upward. I also feel like they had too much padding in the tongue and around the ankle. While I never actually wore any of these In4mation Sal’s, they do look much more “wearable”. The soles on these shoes are a little thinner, and the rubber appears to be softer. Also, there is waaayyy less padding in the tongue and around the ankle. They just appear to be a more comfortable shoe for everyday use. Not some bulletproof indestructible shoe for hardcore skateboard thrashing. These are just my personal opinions and observations though.
