I have 3 brand new St.Croix Bass X Setups (tags still on) and 3 brand new reels (still in the package) I was going to set up 3 unique bass combos but I ended up going a different route. St.Croix Bass X Rods ($80 each) (2) BassX Model: BAS71MF, 7’1” Medium Power, Fast Action (1) BassX Model: BAS68MXF, 7’1” Medium, Extra Fast Action Pfleuger President Reels ($40 each) (1) President Model: PRESSP30 (1) President Model: PRESSP35 Daiwa Light Tough Reel ($40 each) (1) Light Tough Model: LT2500 D-XH I have done plenty of research and these are amazing fishing rods and fishing reels for the money. I used to have a BassX 7’1 with a 2500 Daiwa reel and have landed countless bass. These setups are super versatile too when I did some inshore pier fishing with it I was able to jig for trout and Mackerel and it’s strong enough to flip sheepshead from the pylons
