Description

This antique (1890s?) piece is useful and conveniently compact-sized. Great for small spaces. Solid oak is restored with Danish oil and wax. The spots that have paint now were too deeply stained to sand out so it got a coat of nice green gray paint carefully by hand. 4 out of 6 original handles, all got a hand polish and shine with gilding wax. Piece still has various marks of character from all the years of love. Drawers go in and out fine and lined with new paper. Top desk part is Very slightly curved and some cracks at sides but still very solid and goes up and down smoothly. Every part has been cleaned and fixed. Turned out nice! 58 inches tall 30 inches long 11 inches deep unopened 25.5 inches when top open Leg clearance desktop 28.5 inches high Driveway pickup near 56th and pacific avenue in Tacoma
