Description
Up for sale is a fantastic vintage club edition of William Peter Blatty’s legendary horror masterpiece, The Exorcist (1971). This copy features the iconic, minimalist stark black dust jacket artwork that defined a generation of horror fiction. It has been incredibly well-preserved and is ready for display on a collector's shelf. 🔍 Condition Breakdown: Spine: Excellent / Near Mint. The most impressive feature of this copy is the spine. Black jackets from this era are notorious for severe sun-fading, but this spine remains remarkably dark, deep black with bright, crisp white lettering. Dust Jacket: Very Good Plus (VG+). Presenting beautifully in its original gloss finish. Shows minor, typical vintage edge wear and light creasing along the top edges, with a small amount of rubbing/shelf wear at the bottom corners. Absolutely no major tears or missing pieces. Book & Binding: Very Good (VG). The binding is tight, straight, and structurally sound. Inside pages are clean, crisp, and free of writing, highlighting, or dog-ears. Minor, expected age-toning to the paper edges consistent with a 50-year-old book.
