Description

Overview: Up for sale is this very beautiful woodblock print, "Yomeimon Gate in Summer" which depicts the famous Yomeimon Gate at the Toshogu Shrine in Nikko. This print was produced by Eiichi Kotozuka and was one of four prints in his series, "The Four Seasons of Nikko." Print is framed in a midcentury bamboo wood frame. Condition: Print is trimmed down to fit frame. I haven't examined the print outside the fame, but the original print would have been 11 x 8.25. Print has been trimmed to approximately 10 inches wide x 7.5 inches high. Colors look great. Measurements: Print measures approximately 10 inches wide x 7.5 inches high. Frame measures approximately 10.5 inches wide x 8 inches high.
