Description
This car isn't by any means junk or unredeemable. To be honest I really love it. Here's what needs to be done and approximate cost; Replacement Key -If you are diligent And do you research to find a reasonable locksmith or person who can change out the ignition assembly You will pay anywhere in the range from $60 up to $200 depending on which route you decide to go. I have no clue where this key has gone. Catalytic converter replacement -One of the two was stolen while I was at work. I've gotten a few quotes in town, there's not a substantial amount of waiting time for this part, this will cost you anywhere from $400 to $700 depending on where you go and what they're going to charge for labor I believe you can get it cheaper if you were to go to an online vendor and order it and just pay somebody for the labor. Brake work - The rear passenger brake caliper may be possibly seized, both the front and rear brakes need to be replaced, possible roter resurfacing in the rear And of course new pads. I got a quote from somewhere here in town for about $398 total worst case scenario If you are a Groupon person, You can also get a deal on there to save you anywhere from $50 to $200 off of that Price tag If you know how to shop. One of the small windows behind the passenger seat in the rear has been broken out. You may be able to find a set of Pick-A-Part before anywhere from 30 bucks upward replacement by Safelite online quote was $127 The windshield has a crack running in front of the driver side but it's light and it never bothered me while I was driving It's not getting any worse I don't think it's a huge deal, A new windshield for this will cost nowhere from 100 to 200 bucks. Possible replacement of two tires depends on how long you go without replacing them They were new about a year ago I have for some miles on it though And this vehicle believe it or not has been well taken care of except for the last 4 months or so have been rough on her, It gets about 10 to 12 miles per gallon which is less than appealing in today's economy, I know I've removed one part of the metal row of seats however if you look closely in the rear picture you can see it in the very back behind the last row. I simply detached and have all the bolts and trim It's very easy to reinstall. I took it out to make room for shopping bags as I was doing Instacart and Uber eats for money on the side. However if you're single person there's plenty of room where the seat was to lay out a twin mattress and go camping if you want π use your imagination. And also the rear seats are folded down It can see up to eight people with all the seats installed even with the section I removed from the middle row it can legally still fit five with plenty of legroom and room for bags. Has a CD player at a cassette tape player The air conditioning actually worked great when I parked it about 2 months ago, It did really great last summer. If you were to have to recharge it that's the less than $50 to do but I don't think it needs it. The battery is new a year ago All the major fluids were flushed and/or checked when I purchased it about a year ago, between the first owner and myself it is not missed any services. I am asking, $1,300 for the car with reasonable wiggle room. I am not opposed to haggling or bending what I need to get for it if I feel like the buyer Make me a deal that I am in no position to pass up. All offers will be considered. I'm going through some things in life, And this vehicle unfortunately isn't going to be one of the things that goes with me to the next stage. I'm hoping that it'll at least help me fund My next big adventure. It's a good car, You can put another 80 to 100,000 mi on it if you're careful and take care of it
