Description

1(contact info removed) Cast Iron WW2 Flotting Pendulum Airplane & Pilot.  Antique "Flying ACE" Balancing Cast Iron Swing Toy Description: Rare! One Of A Kind Airplane Toy. The airplane swings back and forth floating on 2 metal prongs; while being balanced by a iron ring with a large welded Cast Iron Medallion at the bottom. The airplane unit has a  attached welded ring with the cast iron medallion at the botton. The airplane is a separate piece from the iron stand that it sits upon when floating. Just a small tap of the airplane and the weight of the airplane's cast iron medallion allows the airplane to swing back and forth for quite a long time. There is a slight ticking nouse while the unit swings back and forth due to the attached dog tags. While swinging back and forth the Pilot"s head wobbles which also creates a slight calming sound as well. There is a manufactured Dog Tag attached to the unit that says:  AM.2006 - AD0274 The colors are vivid & beautiful. Unit is in MINT Condition. This cast iron toy work of art previously belonged to a U. S. Airforce Pilot who flew in WW2. It was sold to me by his granddaughter almost 5 years ago.  Measurements:  Height: 17 Inches. Wing-Span 9 Inches.  Front to Back: 11 inches.
