Works amazing when you add 1 liter of hot water and 2 L of cold water poured in. The heating element takes too long and draws too many watts of portable power so I’ve always just boiled the liter of water in my Jetboil in a minute and ready to wash up in under 2 minutes Otherwise, you can reconnect that safety valve and tinker with it to get the heating elements working. Used it after trail runs, rim to rim to rim Grand Canyon hike, Flagstaff marathon, and mountain biking or just to feel clean after 3-4 days of camping. I’ve even used it to wash my bike down. Water seems to last forever! Amazing machine! I am also willing to sell the Goal Zero YETI 500X for $250. Only selling because we use our camper more often now, which has a shower attached to it.
