Crate Taxi TX30 is a Portable Speaker System for Guitar Voice or Audio, Made in USA. It has two inputs and can be used simultaneously with gain,.low,.treble and additional effects inputs. It is a 30 watt amplifier having a robust 8" Woofer and Tweeter, this speaker sounds very clear for acoustic & steel guitar, audio playback is full sounding with excellent lows and highs. Best of all the entire Crate Taxi weighs 20lbs and is very compact. It can be powered by your car cigarette lighter, or plugged to the wall using AC/DC Power Charger. A lightweight package that can hold its own. The speakers can be positioned in a number of ways based on your needs. Both amplifiers and speakers work perfectly, I can power them up if you'd like to hear them using the power adapter. Each unit has one 12Volt 7.5 ah battery, once charged you can use the Taxi Combo without a cord. Unfortunately both units need a new battery they don't hold a charge, replacement is 12.00-15.00 per unit. I only have one charger but chargers are available on eBay for 12.00.
