Charles Lindbergh and Will Rogers, like new, rare Honor Pioneers 2 FYI: Will Rogers was a passionate aviation enthusiast and supporter, even though he wasn't a pilot himself. He became known as the "Patron Saint of Aviation" for his advocacy and frequent travels by air. Rogers was particularly fond of flying and often used it as his primary mode of transportation. He even participated in aerial tours to raise money for various causes, including flood relief and during the Great Depression Charles Augustus Lindbergh (February 4, 1902 – August 26, 1974) was an American aviator, military officer, and author. On May 20–21, 1927, he made the first nonstop flight from New York to Paris, a distance of 3,600 miles
