Description
Vibrant acrylic painting on heavy stretched canvas, titled “No Limits” by renowned abstract expressionist Jonas Gerard, whose career was launched during the 1970s in New York—along side the likes of Frankenthaler, De Kooning, Warhol, etc. It’s time to let someone else who appreciates art, to enjoy this captivating painting on a prominent wall within their home. For I am in the midst of liquidating my assets in hopes of avoiding foreclosure, which includes selling my fine art collection and furniture. Note: This painting has not seen daylight since the day it was first painted by Gerard on 2/12/11. The painting saw daylight for a second time when I met the flamboyant artist in person (Summer 2012) at his Asheville studio. He helped me select his “No Limits” painting, which had been stored in the chilly darkness of his gallery’s archives. After I received the crated/shipped painting, it remained stored in darkness for another 24 years until I recently uncrated it at home, where it has finally seen daylight for the third time! Local pickup. Will provide bill of sale for insurance purposes. Asking $4,599 / obo. Cash, PayPal or Venmo payment accepted.
