1962 Chevrolet C40 Truck

Stake Flatbed 1 1/2 ton truck only produced for three years from 1960 to 1962. It’s the size of a 1 ton but heavy duty suspension and drivetrain. The engine is running good. Good transmission and differential. New brake shoes all around, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. New E-Brake. New wheel bearings and race’s. Needs tires. It’s still unfinished restoration . I’ve been working on it and I pretty much put it together as is right now. Recently replaced the motor oil pan gasket and Best Gasket Rubber rear main seal. Transmission also has new gaskets and rear seal. Differential cover new gasket. The A/C system still needs work. The Cool Pack and hoses are new never used unit. It will need an A/C compressor. The A/C condenser has been restored it’s original made of copper which is more efficient for heat transfer than aluminum. The receiver dryer needs to be restored, there is an A/C shop that does that. It currently has a stake flatbed not original but I do have the complete correct factory stake flatbed to go along with it. It has a Stock Interiors vinyl flooring cover. New fuse block and complete wiring. New fuel tank.
