This set of Roku audio items was purchased piecemeal by me from Amazon in late 2023. It has sat unused in boxes since June 2024. In includes: • Roku Streambar (center channel), model 9102X • Roku Wireless Bass Pro Subwoofer (bass; the .1 channel), model 9201X • Four Roku Wireless Speakers, model 9030X The Roku Streambar (no longer offered on the Roku website) supports 4K HDR (not Dolby Vision) video over HDMI 2.0a (supports ARC). It also has an S/PDIF port for audio and USB 2.0 Type A port for local media on a USB drive. Separately, a mobile device can connect via Bluetooth to play whatever compatible audio. Roku supports either PCM or Dolby Audio (a.k.a. AC-3). There are four 1.9” full-range drivers in the Streambar, and software features such as Speech Clarity mode or Sound Modes, including Dialogue (emphasize spoken audio via center channel), Night (drastically reduce the bass/0.1 channel), Music (emphasize surround channels), etc. All four wireless speakers connect to the center channel Roku Streambar using the PAIR button. They weigh 4 pounds each and have a 1/4” 20-threaded mounting socket each. These form the front left, front right, back left, and back right channels in the 5.1-channel surround. The Wireless Bass Pro also connects to the Roku Streambar wirelessly, up to 30 feet from the Streambar. It weighs 17 pounds and maximally outputs 250 Watts with a 10” driver. Upon turning on the TV and connecting the soundbar via HDMI, all five other devices are automatically discovered when pressing the Pair button on each, and Roku figures out which device is which channel automatically; i.e., the speaker to the right of the TV will be the front right channel, etc. This set is in perfect condition, as it has been in boxes in storage for half the time I have owned it!
