I just lowered the price. I need to have surgery on my spine quickly. This is now a GREAT deal….. I am selling my Shopsmith Mark 5 500. This is the cleanest Shopsmith you will find. The headstock was completly rebuild by Alex in New Mexico in 2019. New belts, bearings speed controller, Quill, new motor bearings… it was a complete tear down and completely rebuilt. It runs quite, ZERO vibration and runs better than new. There is ZERO rust on this machine. Every part on this machine has been removed cleaned, polished or replaced. I am the 3rd owner. I have the original sales receipt and photos of the headstock tear down. All books and original manuals and all the accessories that come with a mark 5 500 are included and then some. Everthing is in EXCELLENT condition. I have so many extras that the list is to long to list them all. SPTs. It comes with the Shopsmith Bandsaw and the Shopsmith jointer. The bandsaw has new upgraded tires and new bearing. I also have (3) three brand new Shopsmith blades that have never been opened. The idler wheel has just been greased and is smooth and tight. No cracks in the case. It has the cast iron saw deck. The jointer is in pristine condition. It has brand new Shopsmith knives that were just replaced. The jointer is quite and it runs solid. It has been completely disassembled and cleaned. On the machine its self it has the new upgraded casters on it and the stand has been repainted with Shopsmith spray paint. It also has the new dust collector attachment installed. I could go on and on. The price is $900.00. CASH. This is a wicked clean machine. It is waxed and oiled and ready to go. Yes I will include a blade or two as well. I am now in a wheelchair. I dont want a bunch of “let me think about it” folks calling me. I love this machine but I got sick bad. There you have it.
