Description

Paiste 22" Prototype Ride in great condition. I believe this is from the discontinued Paiste "Twenty" series. Made in Switzerland. Weights approximately 3370 grams. Great cymbal, just not using it much anymore. I'd describe it as overall occupying the medium range with a defined dry stick sound, yet it has a shimmery washy medium range undertone with sustain. In my opinion, I'd say it's close to a K. Zildjian but not as deep in tone. The cymbal sounds great to me. Maybe it will to you too. If you're not familiar with the Prototype series cymbals, they are cymbals that had "quirks" of varying degrees that didn't meet the Paiste uniform standard for that particular cymbal in that series. If they weren't up to snuff in that sense, they released them as "prototype" cymbals, which means they can be one of a kind. $225 Cash, Paypal, or Venmo
