Connects to TV via Toslink Optical Audio Cable to TV's Toslink Optical Audio port, not through HDMI. Optical cable included. You can add two Sonos rear speakers (Play:1, Play One, Play One Gen 2, Play One SL, Era 100, or Era 300) and a Sonos Sub (Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4) for 5.1 surround sound. You can add two Sonos rear speakers and a Sonos Sub for 5.1 home theater surround sound. Sonos Ray soundbar speaker can also be grouped together with any other Sonos S2 compatible speaker: etc.: Play:1, One, One Gen 2, One SL, Era 100, Roam, Roam Gen 2, Move, Move Gen 2, Play:5 Gen 2, Five, Ray, Beam, Beam Gen 2, Playbar, Arc, Arc Ultra, Sub Mini, Sub (Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4).
