THE WARN M8000 - RATED THE BEST OFF ROAD 4X4 WINCH FOR OVERLANDING - I purchased this new from 4 Wheel Parts a few years ago for a project Jeep, I ended up buying a different Jeep and never finished the project. I parted the TJ out, keeping the winch for a spare... it has been sitting in my shed ever since. The winch was mounted and did sit outside for a short time on the Jeep, the cable was ran in and out a couple of times but the winch was never actually used under a load. Included in the sale are the winch remote and a hawse fairlead (I did use the fairlead on my FJ cruiser for a couple years). Yes, you can buy a Harbor Freight winch brand new for half of what I am asking for this, just keep in mind... you get what you pay for! I have seen those winches literally fall apart while being used, do you really want that happening in a serious recovery situation??
