1968 GT FASTBACK Real "GT" car Big block "S" code GT390 4 speed car Very nice solid driver  Power Disc Brakes Low Mileage...only 65k original miles..Only 300 miles driven in last 10 years. Present owner has had it for the last 22 years. Car was garaged most of its life. Deluxe Marti report attached...notice that only (50) 1968 fastbacks were made Candy Apple Red with Black Deluxe Interior Cragar 5 spoke Wheels...rear tires replaced INTERIOR: Deluxe Interior Car, still has the original carpet and upholstery in very good condition; Factory 8k tach (works);  A few small holes in the driver seat from items in rear pocket. Speaker holes in trap door and  side of fiberglass panels; Upper & Lower Consoles; Clock needs fixed;  EXHAUST SYSTEM: Has stock GT390 Exh. Manifolds with glass packs ending at rearend. ENGINE: The original GT390 Engine. Still has the engine ID tag on intake manifold. NEW: Summit 750 Carb; water pump; fuel pump; tune up; coil;  Engine smokes a little at start up;  BODY: Very solid car garaged all or most of its life. All original body panels (as far as I can tell); Original windshield; Cowls pass water test; No Rust besides 2 small spots on pass side floorboard; taken down to bare metal when painted in 2007. No bondo or rust repairs were present.  Car was originally Candy Apple Red, new paint is a much nicer red, 2007 Ford G2 Mustang Red Fire Metallic Pearl. Not a show quality  paint job, but very nice driver quality paint.  A few small nicks in the paint. TRANS.: original 4 speed Toploader with Mr. Gasket shifter.   New Centerforce clutch & throw out bearing (300 miles on it); SUSPENSION & DRIVELINE: Front Power Disc Brakes were recently done with new rotors, rebuilt calipers, hoses, pads;  Rear brakes drums turned; Entire suspension needs to be replaced since it all original from 1968, rubber is getting old and cracked and there are old air shocks on rear; 9" Rearend appears to be all stock (not verified); ALSO INCLUDED (not installed): The original Holley carb; New "C" stripe kit; stock original GT wheels; new master cylinder; new rear wheel cylinders and shoes; new door weather stripping; other misc. parts PRICE: $64k
