For sale is the Sansui SD-7000 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder and Player. I purchased this last year and it has been a fun addition to my hifi collection. I do not use it enough (I’m a vinyl guy) so I thought I would sell it to someone who can really appreciate it. This is a beautiful reel to reel that is in exceptional condition with just a few minor nicks on the walnut cabinet. It is missing one knob (all of the knobs are interchangeable) but it does not impede function at all and it is easily turned. You can source a replacement knob online. When I got this it was pretty clean but I went over it and properly cleaned it and lubed the pinch roller and capstan bearing and checked the electronics. I am including an introduction video and one of me playing a tape as well (see links below). All lights and meters function and are factory bright. I am including the 7” aluminum reel I bought new at an auction and a handful of old tapes as well. I am asking $375 or best offer!
