RARE One Of A Kind FRIDA KAHLO Sterling Enhancer Paul Russell & Coral Necklace This is an extremely rare one of a kind piece hand made and designed by modernist jewelry artist/designer Paul Russell. Currently it is being used as the enhancer to this beautiful long sterling silver and coral bead necklace. This could also possibly be used as a scarf clip or money clip. It is very heavy for its size! Truly an amazing piece of artistry by Paul Russell and a must have for the Frida admirer or collector. Beautifully made. High quality hand made artisan piece. When I purchase this piece it was listed as an enhanced when purchased it was displayed only and never used by the original owner so I did the same…I never used it and never wore it, I only displayed it in a case with the current necklace it is on. Necklace has also never been worn, displayed only. In my opinion, it is a versatile piece that could also be used as an enhanced on other necklaces or even as a clip at the center of a button up shirt at the collar, scarf clip, maybe even a focal piece on a belt front or a money clip. It is all solid sterling silver and signed by artist Paul Russell on the back. The picture of Frida is set onto the front bezel and feels like a thick artist canvas or thick lithograph style medium. The FRIDA piece is in beautiful vintage condition. Clean. No breaks or repairs. May have very light storage wear. NOTE: I highly recommend that the piece only be professionally cleaned when needed by a jeweler and I would avoid getting it wet due to the art piece on the front. The long necklace is beautiful polished red coral beads with sterling silver spacer beads and sterling hardware. The necklace measures approximately 30” long. It has a lobster claw clasp that works perfectly and holds securely. The FRIDA piece measures approximately 2 3/4” across by 3” high. It weighs approximately 3 1/8 ounces (total weight of enhancer with necklace). Just the sterling enhancer is 2 1/8 ounces and just the necklace is 1 ounce. Smoke free home.
