Meade LX200 10-Inch Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope - AS-IS / Parts

Up for sale is a classic 10-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope (SCT) optical tube assembly mounted on its original heavy-duty, dual-fork arm base. Wrapped in signature Meade blue, this high-aperture 254mm f/10 optical tube offers legendary light gathering capability, making it a fantastic project candidate for astrophotographers, astronomers, or telescope restoration hobbyists. Please note that this unit is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts, repair, or a deforking project. It does not include a hand controller/keypad, tripod, power supply, finder scope, or eyepieces. Because I do not have the hand controller to power up the unit, the internal motors and electronics remain untested. However, the glass and optics appear clear, and it includes the top carrying handle as well as a printed copy of the manual. This setup is a great opportunity for an astrophotographer looking to defork a large 10-inch OTA to mount on a modern equatorial rig, or for an existing LX200 owner who needs replacement tube, optical, or base components. The scope and fork assembly are quite heavy, so please plan accordingly for pickup. Cash or Venmo only, please. Local pickup only.
