Kitchen Island Rustic Modern Shelf Table Utility Cart

This is a repurposed salvaged restaurant cart that we used as an island in our kitchens over the years. It is a stainless wheeled island, so it’s mobile and you can lock the wheels in place. We added brackets for shelving, holes for hooks, and built a wood top that sits over the stainless top. We used it against a wall in our rental years ago to hold our microwave etc. and it’s been the centerpiece of our kitchen serving as open storage for pots and pans and a work surface, and also as a bar cart when hosting. I used the hooks for little baskets to hold bottle openers, chopsticks etc., and kitchen towels.
