Fuel Injector Cleaning And Testing

Don’t throw your old injector away! they are getting harder to find and more expensive. In most cases they just need to be properly cleaned. For example, I recently was able to successfully bring back to life 4 injectors out of a Acura GSR that was sitting for 10 years, only one was actually spraying and not every good at that. After rehabbing them, they all ended up coming back to life and flowing at the same rate. If you run E85, it’s especially important to service your injectors regularly as the higher ethanol content is more prone to clog and rust the injectors. NOT ALL INJECTORS ARE CREATED EQUAL… don’t run to your nearest auto parts store and buy injectors. I’ve had my fare share of installing aftermarket injector that either flowed to much fuel or not enough- resulting in poor performance and a handful of other issues. I suggest staying with the original injectors if they can be saved or replacing them with the original manufacturer of the injector. If you have lean codes, rich codes, pre detonation under hard acceleration, decreased fuel efficiency, or just want to get them cleaned before they go back into a new engine or used engine.. you can’t put a price on piece of mind. I offer cleaning and testing and full injector rebuild on most injector except diesel and side feed injectors. All injectors are tested for ohms, leaks , pre flow and post flow after cleaning with documentation so you know exactly how your injector are performing.
