Located in Orange CA, 92867 For sale is a 6 ply 70’s Ludwig thermogloss drum set in fair condition. The set consists of a 10x14” rack tom, 16x18” floor tom, and a 14x24 bass drum. The rack tom shows wear and scratches in the finish and pitting on the lugs and hoops. The serial # is 2119993. It is outfitted with an emperor white suede Remo head. It has an Evans pillow system inside the and is outfitted with Remo P3 and power stroke 3 heads. This kit has very good edges and all of the drums are in round. It plays and sounds great, just has more than usual wear and extra holes. If that doesn’t bother you, then this is the kit for you! The 6 ply maple/poplar shells are the more modern design with staggered seams. Similar to Gretsch shells in design but with poplar instead of gumwood and thicker/heavier overall.
