Vintage Decorative Art Green Glass Bottle w/ Metal & Glass Cross Top

Description

Enhance your collection with this exquisite green decorative artisan glass bottle featuring a unique, ornate stopper in the shape of a cross on top. The cross stopper is made of metal and inlaid with various glass or green crystal pieces, giving it a stained-glass or jeweled appearance. There are no markings to identify the maker, but the general design aligns with items attributed to bohemian or Czech glassmakers of the 1920s and 1930s. The top is secured to glass and appears to be leaded glass which is a technique used in contemporary handmade "solder art" and vintage "Tiffany style" pieces. This item is considered a unique decorative piece for collectors of vintage vanity items or art glass. Item is in good vintage used condition.
