Description

This is a stunning southeast Asian black volcanic rock Buddha head statue. It has a very calm and serene looking face. The dimensions of it are in the photos, same with the weight. The stone is coded with some kind of waxing material in order to bring out the details on the face. Comes with a little rosewood, stand for it as well. Came from a large Asian Antiques collection in San Francisco California. I believe it to be from either the late 1800s or early the 1900s. Take a look at the photos to see condition, dimensions, weight.
